The Bookworm Foundation was launched from a previously existing private tutoring company, Excel Reading, LLC which was in operation for three years. Realizing that we were not reaching families who needed our assistance, children from families with limited resources, who were struggling with reading and math became our target population. The Bookworm Foundation has been successful in developing students by providing qualified tutors, individualized plans and follow-up, homework, and exam assistance. We invest in proven Reading and Math learning sites to assist in sessions and home assignments. Our success is also based on our dedication to students who have challenges, such as ADHD and focus problems, and minor disciplinary challenges. We assist students with self-control, managing impulses and making good decisions. Many have attained Honor Roll and are performing on or above grade level. Our students are high school graduates and are accepted into colleges, universities, and Military colleges. We work diligently researching ways to help our children become successful, that’s why we keep “Turning the Page on Learning”
